Video "Cadetti dello Spazio-Tempo" by Sabina Ismailova : youtu.be/zqycJz6nh8M

Concept :
“Anno Domini 1987. The Great Nuclear War has ended without winners. Huge yellowish clouds float between the continents, obscuring
the sky. The planet is amorphous, the soil filled with toxic exhalations.
The beauty, banished from reality, survives only in the reminiscences of a few survivors. No megalopolis, no parliament, no family:
everything man had built at the core is now marginal, sporadic, uncertain.
Space’s destruction has also wasted Time. All that remains of the one and the other are scattered fragments, destined to crumble under
the rush of sulphuric winds and caustic depressions. The Society of the Last Beings, huddled around extreme hope, cultivates the last
remaining plants in the few islands of fertile soil. The ‘Last Hypothesis’ - that is its name, the most beautiful and terrible of theories ever
imagined - has reached its limit, the very edge of what can be imagined.
Tomorrow morning at dawn, the Last Hypothesis will attempt to cage the time’s molecule. Too fanciful an outcome to be told, whatever
comes next can only be better...”
With these words, written by Riccardo Agostini and Enrico Demuro, printed on the back cover of “La Molecola del Tempo”, New
Interplanetary Melodies, continues its space journey, among the most interesting musical galaxies of the Italian electronic music
scene. For this new release, Simona Faraone, relies on the skilful hands of producers and musicians Marco Antonio Spaventi and
Enrico Demuro, who return to work together after the experience of The Great Walk [GFTDCVLTR-007/NIM002-MC] to give us this
dense musical experience in the imaginary soundtrack form of a retro-futuristic sci-fi movie that embraces the ever more topical theme of survivalism.
Following in the tradition of the finest Italian film soundtrack composers (Gino Minuzzi Jr, Enrico Simonetti, Goblin, to remain in the sci-fi
sphere), the two producers take us on this unique space adventure using a rich selection of mysterious analogue sounds, melted by the
warmth of the sweet notes of the Fender Rhodes (Nuovi Orizzonti) and a Fender Jazz Bass (Cuspide), traversing cosmic and electronic
reminiscences, Nel Vortice di una vertigine / Cadetti dello spazio-tempo / Inseguire e fuggire (ogni cosa da inseguire sfugge),
that lead the way to tasty 808 downtempo and funky rhythms (Il punto di fusione/Molecolare), to continue with some emotional space
ambient (Sospensione / Elettromagnetica / Cinematica terrestre) typical of certain film music from the 70s and 80s of the last
century but still tremendously relevant today.
La Molecola del Tempo is a solid record that invites you to listen to it in one sitting and will surely satisfy all fans of sci-fi soundtracks/
library music, but not only.
This album, composed, arranged and produced by MA Spaventi and Enrico Demuro between late August 2019 and March 2021 will
be available in digital distribution (Sequence.cc) with the addition of the bonus track, Cinematica Terrestre , on May 26th, 2023, and vinyl distribution by fb.me/basicframedistribution distribution@basicframe.it on November, 16th 2023
